How to plan a surprise date without giving it away
A good surprise date is built from things they have already told you, planned where they will not see it, and revealed in small clues: when to be ready, what to wear and what to bring, and nothing that gives the destination away.

Build it from what they have already said

Give clues, not the plan
They need enough to be comfortable and nothing that gives it away. Four clues cover almost every surprise:

- What to wear. “Dress warm,” “something nice,” “comfortable shoes.”
- What to bring. A jacket, an ID, nothing at all.
